Ghamni lives in a beautiful village of the North Karanpura valley. She paints a lot of small birds, plants and animals, and the most striking being a series of elephants moving in a line. Her paintings resembles the rock art of the region. She is one of the earliest artist who worked on the Australian High Commission (New Delhi) project in 1993-94.
